Each year, the European Commission organises the European Union’s Raw Materials Week in Brussels to discuss the important challenge Europe is facing to secure the supply of mineral raw materials. Its third edition started the 12th of November and it will finish the 16th.

The INFACT project is present in this important event, as a poster of the project is showcasing its most important achievements.

Project partners from the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) are attending the event and are closely following different sessions focusing on sustainable mineral exploration and the social license to operate. They have also held several clustering meetings with other projects such as Smart Exploration, Pacific and NEXT. As these projects are also working on sustainable mineral exploration, it has been a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and share good practices.
