The INFACT project and Seequent recently made an agreement on the use of Leapfrog Geo software, a powerful 3D geological modelling tool enabling geologists of the project to make different hypotheses and improve their understanding of the very diverse geological contexts INFACT is facing. The collaboration tools included in this agreement will enable INFACT partners to interactively discuss geological models and be prepared to benchmark future exploration technologies trialled on the reference sites. This collaboration was initiated around the Geoscience Data Portal developed by Geosoft Inc. (part of the Seequent group). On 22 and 23 May 2019, INFACT geologists were trained in Freiberg on mastering the software.
